Scrapping Contest

Description:

Candid photo of my mother, taken when we were exploring an abandoned homestead. She turned to watch a circling hawk as I took the picture; at that time, the beam of sunlight was not visible in the viewfinder. The verse is from 'Presence of Trees' by Michael Glaser. The flower graphic is manipulated from "Bride's Bouquet," an original work by SteppeLand @ Deviant Art and is used with her permission. **I would welcome any feedback, as I am relatively new to digital scrapbooking and still struggling to learn the Gimp imaging program.**
