This tutorial ROCKS!!! Totally cool – I love the silhouette effect — it’s awesome!!!!!
I totaly agree, awesome video, you can do so much with the concept with this.
Thank you, great little tip for creating a silouette but couldn’t you take off the shadow at the back of his head before you did the Threshold and not have to shave off the back of his head…and if so how would you do that?
Thank you, it´s a simple but great example to use My Tablet…
Great video Rhonna! I hope to get my tablet for Christmas and if not I will get it myself and start playing! Hugs from Texas!
Thanks, everyone!
Patricia…you are absolutely right. There are always lots of ways to do one thing! LOL! & of course, it all depends on the photo you are working with….
To take out the shadow you could:
Use the Dodge tool to lighten that area.
or
go to: Adjustments>Shadow/Highlight & work with it there.
or
a more advanced technique: The Luminosity Mask (here’s a great tut about it! http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7931)
or…you could erase it! THEN apply the Image>Adjustments>Threshold. *wink*
enjoy!
